Let the countdown to Commencement begin! There are just a few things to do to make sure you’re ready for your big day.
A few things you need to do to get ready:
1. Let us know if you plan to attend Commencement!
RSVP for Commencement. Include the number of guests who plan to join you in your RSVP. Please RSVP even if you do not plan to participate in the university-wide Commencement ceremony.
2. Reserve your regalia.
Regalia is required to participate in the university-wide Commencement ceremony. Although the priority deadline of April 11 has passed, you may still reserve your rental regalia. Do not delay if you still need to secure your academic attire!
3. Learn about other graduation-related events.
Check the calendar of events for details about individual school, program, and affinity celebrations that will be held between Wednesday, May 7, and Thursday, May 15.
We encourage families to attend their student’s school events as well as the university-wide Commencement ceremony.
4. Undergraduates – Get your gold philanthropy cord.
A contribution to the Senior Class Gift connects you to a lasting legacy of support, originating with the inaugural graduating class of Washington University. Your gift, regardless of size, provides opportunities for future students just beginning their education journey at WashU. Donate today and receive a gold philanthropy cord to wear at commencement, symbolizing your commitment to this proud tradition!
5. Graduate students.
