University Wide Commencement 2026

Francis Olympic Field, Danforth Campus
9:00 a.m.
Gates open at 7:00 a.m.
The May university-wide Commencement ceremony will include a graduate procession, remarks from Chancellor Andrew Martin, Keynote Speaker remarks, Conferral of Honorary Degrees, Student Speaker remarks, Conferral of Academic Degrees, and a graduate recession.
Family and guests are welcome to attend this ceremony. Seats are available first come, first served. This ceremony is a rain or shine event.
Graduates should attend their individual school ceremonies to have their name called and to cross the stage.

Tickets & Policies
Tickets
Tickets are required to enter the ceremony. Graduates will be emailed their ticket. Graduates are responsible for sending the ticket to their guests. Currently there is no limit on invited guests. Policy is subject to change.
Bag Policies
Graduates may not bring bags into Francis Olympic Field. Please plan accordingly. For guests, the following types of bags will be allowed onto Francis Olympic Field:
- Small wallets or purses not to exceed 4” x 6”
- Diaper bags and medically necessary equipment may be allowed after inspection
All approved bags are subject to inspection upon entry. Guests with bags or items that do not satisfy the bag policy are encouraged to return their bags or items to their vehicle.

Flowers & Gifts
Flowers and gifts will be available for purchase at the May university-wide Commencement Ceremony and at the Commencement Festival. Pre-orders will be available in Spring 2026.
Live Streaming
The May university-wide Commencement ceremony will be streamed online and accessible via the Commencement homepage. The streaming will include live captions.

The following additional viewing locations will be available during the university-wide Commencement ceremony on Friday, May 15. The locations below are accessible, provide seating with back support and are climate controlled.
